With 25 years of practice in traditional and tantric yoga and somatic studies, ATEEKA shares a yoga that is immediate, fluid and experiential. 

She is the founder of YogaSOMATICS: a healing and meditative movement approach infused with tantric wisdom, meditation and modern somatic approaches. Her open-hearted style of teaching encourages the innate intelligence of the one’s own body and felt-sense to emerge its own unique and natural way.

She has written the book: LOVE IS UNDER MY SKIN: Experiments in Living Yoga. 

Written to inspire rather than instruct, Ateeka shares a new vision for yoga that synthesizes the timeless wisdom of tantra with modern somatic and healing techniques guiding the reader towards a profound awareness of what it means to be part of a living universe. 

Love is Under My Skin is a deep and poetic investigation of the healing potential that thrives within the bio-movement roots of yoga postures, breath-work and deep relaxation. 


Up until the last year . . . when the world pandemic situation has changed everything, Ateeka had been traveling internationally to share her innovative perspective of YogaSOMATICS and Somatic Bodywork. Now, with travel restrictions . . . she is curious about how we adapt, remain flexible, meet in new ways also through online/digital formats. She loves living close to nature with her partner Ola and some clever little companion animals in Norway and Sardegna.
